    Stewart Goodwin

Stewart Goodwin served as a law enforcement officer in patrol, undercover narcotics and community policing. She also taught students with special needs for seven years.

Her travels across the United States, to several islands in the Caribbean, throughout Europe, Central America and Africa provide her knowledge for backdrops for her stories.

As someone whose life experiences were always “novel worthy” she has taken those experiences and put them into words. Stewart’s first book, “An Imperfect Oath” is based on a true crime in which she had personal experience. Her second novel, “Hunter Hunted”, is based on her life experiences and her secret desires. Her third novel, “Hunter Hunted” the third in this trilogy that brings closure to several of the characters in her previous two books.

Stewart has also published a compilation of letters written by her grandparents in 1946-1947. “Letters From Home” that gives a snapshot of activities in the small town of Clifton Forge, Virginia during the post war years.

Her book “Lessons Learned” is a nuts and bolts handbook for caregivers.

Stewart currently lives on her farm in Central Virginia where she raises chickens, gardens and preserves home grown fruits and vegetables.
