I, the People

The story of one woman's battle against local government to correct a wrong perpetrated at the expense of the citizenry. Enduring more than 56 months of insults, personal attacks, attacks on her integrity, livelihood and her once peaceful way of life, she continued to fight for what was right. Costing her peace of mind, time and money, this battle never needed to happen. The county should have done what was right in the beginning and put the safety, peace and quality of life of the citizen taxpayers ahead of their egos and corporate interest. The battle resulted in her livelihood becoming the target of retribution from county officials even if it meant ignoring or violating State laws.
